Didn't know granite needed sealing until a neighbor said it was standard and should be done. Have 386 Brilliant Stone Seal. I sprayed Granite & Stone Sealant 386 on the surface after cleaning the countertop with 386 Stone Cleaner. I didn't overdo it like the label says. I wiped it down with the microfiber cloth that came with it. It is very easy to use and only took a few minutes. You can tell right away where it's sealed because it's much smoother. My kitchen granite has this sheen that catches the eye and is smooth to the touch. I did my bathroom countertop with the same great results. It takes very little to make all of my countertops. That a high quality microfiber cloth was included in the kit was a definite bonus.
