Review on 🤖 Adjustable J2 Black Shoulder Replacement by Sarah Chase

I don't think I'll get excited about the strap but it's a really good strap. dark brown leather parts. Luckily the brown color matched perfectly with the leather messenger bag I was replacing. Construction: The strap itself is nicely made, the leather parts are slightly worn and thick, the strap itself also appears to be thick. I was expecting something flimsy and flimsy, but it does have some weight. The strap padding is quite large, although not as thick as my previous one. The movement of the fittings is smooth, locking firmly and rotating freely. In addition, the strap is significantly longer than on my previous one. I had my old strap at max length and this one is maybe 60% long. This can be a problem if you need it shorter as the shoulder pad would not be centered. Overall very happy with this purchase. . This is non-intrusive usage. a laptop bag that I only carry about an hour a day for a week to get to work. Updated September 12, 2016 - As per their note below, the seller contacted me and exchanged the strap. I restored the previous rating. It actually appears that the hinge mechanism has been changed since my original purchase, there is now a matching color washer between the two pieces. Also, the whole mechanism seems more powerful than the old one. I am attaching a photo comparing the old and new clasps (I thought I threw away the old strap but I found it). Time will tell if that works. I will update the review when I use it.
