Review on X AUTOHAUX Waterproof Motorcycle Cover XL - Lightweight Half Cover for Full Dress Touring Cruiser - Outdoor Rain and Dust Protector by David Schweigert

Fits full size tourers

I ordered this half pannier with the confidence of other reviewers that it would fit my bike. This is the 2019 Indian Roadmaster, their touring model. When shooting at night, it does not fully close the trunk due to flags and flagpoles. I wanted to make some holes in the lid to place the flags. After making the holes I used flexible tape to secure the holes so they don't tear further. The lid slides over the flagpole and completely closes the trunk. There are 4 rubber bands on the cover. Two in the middle on either side as shown in the photos wrap around the passenger footrest. And two more loops further back to secure everything. I don't have room to add extra back loops, but there is an elastic cord that runs at the very bottom of the case. And an adjustable plastic clip if you need to dress like a hoodie. I don't mind making holes as I would like the flags on the trunk. The wind was really howling and I took the picture after the storm. Keep leather seats dry underneath. Nothing touching or too close to the exhaust pipe, you must be careful when putting it on a hot bike not to let it fall on the hot exhaust to avoid burning it out. It's a thin material but durable and keeps everything dry. Let's see how he behaves over time. For those with a Roadmaster or similar touring model with large leg fairings and fork fairings, you can see the leading edge hiding under the underside of the fairing. In this image, the windshield is in its lowest position. And the lid even covers the top of the leg panels. For the price, this case really can't be beat. The Indian wants $70 for one that just covers the seats and trunk. Glad to have found these and a few other good reviews and photos to make this an easy matter. Edit: As of April 2021, the outer jacket of the lanyard has torn. It still has elastic properties so I just pulled the cord and used a plastic stopper to stop it with about 30cm of tie rope. Not so hot what's up. I'm not worried It's been almost a year now and it's still doing a great job for the purpose I bought it for. To prevent UV rays from reaching the leather of the seats and the Ride Command screen. And at least help keep them dry when it's raining while I'm sitting outside so I don't have to go out on a wet seat if it's not raining when I'm gone. But I still recommend the case. There was no UV damage to the lid, no discoloration yet. For the price I'm still happy with it.
