The main reason I like this knee brace more than most (and I've tried almost all of them) is because of the knee pad cover. . I can't stand full coverage because it hurts a lot and it hurts just having an open hole. But the lightweight coverage is just right, and this support is adjustable enough to fit whatever occasion you need it. The reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it compresses the skin under the knee. So I have to put a piece of cloth or cotton under my knee before putting on an orthosis. Otherwise it really helps. It works better than what the doctor gave me. I bought one for my son and he said it really helps him and doesn't pinch his knee. His knee is bigger than mine so it might have something to do with that. But if you have knee problems, give it a try.
