Although these pedals don't appear to be as heavy (weight and appearance) as I expected, I have to admit that once installed there are plenty of them. stronger than I thought they were; I was able to easily install these pedals as a replacement for the clip-on cleated pedals that come standard on a Peloton bike. Now I can just hop on and off the bike without fiddling with pesky spike pedals; But beware, replacing the original Peloton pedals or seat (yes, it can also be replaced with a much more comfortable seat) will void the warranty. In my case, I'd rather take the risk because while I love the Peloton bike, I hated the spikes/pedals and seat that come standard on the product. Also, I don't expect any issues with the Peloton bike as it's built like a tank.
