That means it's for high pressure, but it works pretty well in my bathroom shower with my regular water pressure shower. Not to mention it looks amazing as my shower is all white, the brushed nickel has a golden tint which I really like. The reason I bought this was because I needed a new shower head and wanted to "upgrade" it to a nicer one with a hose that I could use by removing it to clean things like me or a shower stall need to wash better. Fairly easy to assemble - just read the instructions and add rubber grommets where indicated. No leaks on the first try was a very pleasant surprise. If needed in the future I would do it again.
