
I liked them, but although they seem as bright as the fluorescents I replaced, they lack the red/pink -Spectrum for live freshwater plants. After a few months all my plants stagnated and suffered in low light below, including numerous Anubias which grew and reproduced safely in any other light for many years. The spectrum of light it puts out reminds me of the reduced red you get when diving 10 meters or deeper under water. Perhaps this spectrum is suitable for marine life, but it gradually "suffocates" living freshwater plants. I had to replace them.
