A bit of background. I have very dark hair and yellow/tan skin, so I've always been told I'm the perfect candidate for laser hair removal. I tried professional laser hair removal at a well known bikini spa a few years ago and after 6 sessions and a lot of dollars I hardly noticed any difference. It was such a waste of time, money and pain. I was hesitant to try another spa, so I looked for at-home laser hair removal options. I wanted something affordable and easy to use, almost painless. I'm tired of shaving in the morning and noticing stubble before bed :( I was definitely a little afraid to try this knowing that laser hair removal has been a pain in the ass for me in the past. But after reading other reviews no one said it hurts i tried it.in the morning i shaved with my regular razor and didnt use the one that came with it.i plugged in and the fan came on.i was planning to,at first only to do the shins session which takes less than 15 minutes in slide and flash mode (much easier than pushing and walking for feet) I started with stage 1 and then 2. No pain so I went to stage 4 and then 5 over and still didn't feel any pain! I was surprised. Sunglasses were a must and very helpful as the flash is very bright. DO NOT look directly at the device when using it - try in a e other direction to look away. After I was done there was no redness or irritation on my legs (see photo) but I did notice a slight warm spot after washing after about 20 minutes. I applied some aloe vera gel which definitely helped. Overall, I'm happy with the ease of use and the price of this device. It's better than spending thousands at the spa over and over again. If this thing doesn't give me the results I want, I think I'll lose less than $100.
