Beware. Does not work as a turn signal

Amber 3 wire was purchased for use as a running light and turn signal. Wiring White-Ground, Red-Curve (Light), Black-Run (Dark). When you turn it off, it blinks, but as soon as you turn it on, the blinking stops. For reference, I'm using an adjustable LED turn signal. I have noticed that this product is currently unavailable and am hoping that the supplier will contact me as the returns window is closed.
