The item was a bit difficult to install. The bottom was fine and easy, but the top was difficult. I may have upper back forward to be honest, but I've adjusted it and it seems to be holding up well. The instructions show a case that is a bit different from the one I have, it shows 3 notches for the top case but I only have 2 (my old laptop had the notches facing the hinge/bottom of the laptop so made me a bit confused that the document said to set them up). After all, I had notches down. The material itself is less stiff than I expected, but it should protect the laptop from scratches and minor bumps. I've seen reviews of the clear case citing issues with fingerprints and although I've only had this case for less than a day, I haven't seen the same issue with my crystal clear case yet. One more thing, it was a mistake on my part not to initially notice that the case doesn't allow for the use of a USB-C hub that plugs flush into the side of the laptop. I've seen many of them and ordered one for myself but as expected it didn't fully connect. I recommend a USB-C hub that connects to a dongle.
