To be honest I didn't think I needed a pregnancy pillow. It seemed like one of those things that was really unnecessary and just a way to make you spend more money on the whole experience of having a baby. Imagine me 8 months pregnant, having excruciating back and pelvic pain and sleeping on 6 different pillows including a regular body pillow. I woke up several times during the night to flatten and fluff up the pillow nest. I didn't sleep and the pelvic pain made it difficult to walk. I was unhappy. I chose this maternity pillow because it was described as a firm memory foam. I bought my dog a beautiful memory foam bed from this company and it is very good quality. Regular body pillows and most other pregnancy pillows are filled with regular down, which doesn't give me enough support. This pillow has had such a positive impact on my entire pregnancy experience. I've been using it for almost a week but my back pain is already gone and my pelvic pain is almost non-existent. It's so nice to only have one pillow instead of 6 that I can put in any of the designated sleeping/resting/resting areas. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and thanks to this pillow I sleep a lot better at night.
