Works but takes practice. My gray at sideburns and hairline. It took me a few training sessions to get the hang of it. I find it best to apply it in layers. I CAREFULLY apply the first coat all over the gray hair, then go back to the second and sometimes the third application. Keep each layer light so it doesn't hit the skin and "layer" over the gray hair. Not ALL gray hair is covered, but I would say 90%. Good enough to last between colorations and just enough that it doesn't look like I have to wear a tuxedo. Came in a quality case with a nice brush. TIP: Apply last after any other makeup.
