Hard wax for coarse hair! The strip is not required. I see a lot of feedback that the strip doesn't stick, well that's because it's a hard wax and not a soft one. If you have not been taught how to wax, please do not wax yourself or others, as you may seriously hurt someone's skin. I used this wax as soon as I received it to try it out. I personally don't think this is a good wax for facial hair, it doesn't seem to hold up well on fine hair. I did a wax epilation of the bikini area, the perfect wax for it! All hair pulled out with little pain. Will continue to buy for thicker hair. I gave it 4 stars because once the wax is applied and you pick up the wand it keeps getting tighter, I don't know how to get rid of it.
