4.5 stars, but I rounded up. I scraped the ugly texture off the walls in our lobby to reveal the original smooth plaster underneath. First I used a metal spatula and it was incredibly hard work. Then I found a scraper similar to the Zinsser at our local major hardware store chain that was made by their private toolmaker. I was amazed at how quickly it scraped off the cast and wished I had done it sooner. But then, on the second day of use, the handle broke. So I replaced it with a second one and after a few hours of use the same thing happened. Instead, I decided to try Zinsser. I'm happy so far. It seems much stronger, even after several hours of heavy use. I'll update my post if the handle breaks or whatever, but it seems to be of higher quality (although about the same price). The only negative thing I have to say is that the rubber grip isn't really ergonomically designed. I got a little blister on my palm after using it so I'll take a week off before I'm done. Although the texture of the handle is soft.
