You'll get a big, big hint of what's to come when you realize there's no HDMI cable in the box, just an ancient VGA. Acer doesn't talk about it, and customer service seems to be chasing the clock, but a recent Windows 10 review seems to confirm that this monitor cannot be used with HDMI. As far as I can tell it's a refresh rate issue and the monitor can't match the frame rate required by HDMI, which I wasn't aware of. In any case, this monitor only works on legacy systems that still have a VGA connection. I replaced it with a second, slightly more expensive, 32-inch monitor from LG, which is so much better in every way, you'd be crazy to buy one of that shit. Let her die her stupid death.
