I've had my eye on these for a long time as stocking fillers or small gifts for my father who loves to fish. I was torn between the one that attaches to a zipper, key chain or whatever and this one. I bought this for my dad as a Christmas present when the other one was sold out so the decision was made for me. It was a good choice. He liked it and it's still sticking to his boat so I think the tape is holding up well. We live in Texas where the sun doesn't spare plastic and glue all year round. Anyway, he said it's useful and cuts well. He's happy, I'm happy.
