My Galaxy Kids Edition 7" fell on the street and has a crack. This screen and digitizer was a very economical replacement. Using a cheap phone/tablet tool kit, I removed the case from the tablet and used a hard, thin tool to separate the screen from the tablet. A lot of the instructions I read online said to heat up the tablet with a hair dryer first, but I was able to do it slowly with no heating up. This replacement screen has the original name but no corresponding white home button. You need to reuse the old home button. Our old home button was yellow, so it looks a bit odd with the white border around the screen, but it works fine. Had to buy this item twice as my daughter loves to drop her tablet. I still insist this is a quality replacement at an ideal price.
