Bought these trays a year ago and still use them. Their main selling point was that I was trying to replace old metal TV stands I had, but now they're only on eBay as 'collectibles'. who knew And all the new trays I've looked at had a cross brace that prevented your legs from reaching under the tray. And at 6'1 I need room to stretch. You're built up as an all-rounder the whole time and can actually withstand quite a bit of weight. I use the other every night for lunch. The crossbar from the one I eat with I was able to fold up and put away after use, also I used the one with the bottom crossbar first and got my feet caught on it and nearly knocked the tray over. Bad with dinner on it. I didn't use the cup holder so I can't see that part. I think they are sturdy enough for what I need them for and they are very easy to install, remove and fold. And the leg extension space under the tray is great.
