bought this blanket because of restless legs syndrome. It worked straight away. I was surprised. I can't go to bed without it. My depression and anxiety have not increased, it is actually giving me the relaxation and peace I have been longing for. This is a soft blanket. Difficult, but not if you can believe it. I'm a queen size so I fit in like a cocoon. It's like a big bear hug. Use to wake up 3 or 4 times a night but not now. I slept through the night several times.
