I bought this to connect my desktop computer to a 3D printer across the room. However, I am having trouble turning off the printer while printing. This doesn't always happen, but when it does I lose hours and some prints take over 12 hours. It can be very frustrating to lose the 11 o'clock signal in a 12 o'clock print and start over. I never had it when using the stock cord so I can only assume it's the extender I bought for it. So my final verdict is that it works well for part-time use, but occasionally loses signal with extended use. UPDATE: Now I can't stay connected to my 3D printer for more than a few minutes. I don't know what's wrong but I can no longer use this cable and will be asking for a refund. The replacement Revain sent me is also defective and no longer communicating with my printer! DO NOT BUY!
