Review on πŸ‘“ Hang LUFF Necklace Reading Glasses: Portable HD Neck Type for Men & Women by Samuel Reppa

Good optics but difficult to hold

First of all, the optics of these reading glasses are quite good. They give you a very sharp, clear picture with no distortion. I was very surprised about that. If you are the right prescription and hold them like glasses, you should be able to see fairly well. The downside is that you have to keep them on all the time. It gets boring and tiring. So no, I wouldn't sit with them and read a book. But read a bottle in the supermarket? Ideal! Do you check the amount on the bill in the restaurant? Of course! Use the Internet on my cell phone? No way! They are also very, very narrow and barely reveal your pupils, so wearing them would be ridiculous. They cannot be used as a magnifying glass. They need to be worn close to the eye like regular glasses. The kit includes two ropes that can be worn as a necklace, but oddly enough, only one pouch. The ropes can be adjusted in length by pulling more, and then made longer by grabbing the little knots in the extension section and pulling them apart (clever design, actually). Of course, to attach the glasses to the cord, all you have to do is tie a knot with two small pieces of cord. Not very elegant (or safe). The jar of throat candy they bring is cute but bigger than it should be. The bag is also larger than it should be. I would love to have these super cheap items on the outside of my wallet. But this big bag is too flashy. And I don't need them often enough to wear them. So I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them. The product itself is good, but the manufacturer just doesn't give you a practical and elegant way to use it.

Pros
  • Polymer lens
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
