Before watching a video on YouTube about setting up the paint sprayer. I didn't even know that when using a paint sprayer it was necessary to strain the paint. As I am new to spraying I cannot offer any enlightenment on the subject. I can only speak from my personal experience. I used these Micron filters/filters. I've poured paint through them before putting them in the spray bowl and my sprayer hasn't clogged at all. Even after filling the paint tank 6 times 6 times to finish the work. I definitely give this product 5 stars because it saved me the hassle.
