Used these on a Supermicro X9DRH-7F and they work great. Some server MBs have direct access to fan settings through the BIOS. This SM motherboard model does not support; You must access the BMC through the dedicated IPMI network port. Once you've done that, you can set the CPU and all fans to the desired speed. The mounting hardware on this SNK-P0050AP4 HSF is solid and works very well. Comes with two different mounts, one for the square ILM and the other for the narrow ILM. Just understand that these HSFs need a 4U chassis because they are very large. Almost as big as the CoolerMaster Hyper 212 for reference, which most PC enthusiasts are familiar with.
