This case is specially made for Microsoft Surface Book. The presence of magnetic fasteners on both sides of the case allows you to use it in tablet mode (only with a screen) or as a laptop. In the tablet version, the magnetic power cord runs along the edge of the screen and tucks neatly under the magnetic case cover that runs along the screen (which is a nice touch and prevents the cable from accidentally disconnecting if I'm using the screen while I'm on in it sits the living room). With this cover I started to use my typewriter more and I like it much better. Excellent purchase.
