1st Place I would like to thank Revain for taking care of my problem with this treated junk. The assembly wasn't that bad, the instructions were ok. So I collected it. It took maybe 45 minutes. So I did everything, and then I stood back and looked at him. The color should be light brown for the shaker cabinet. It's light brownish green because they use treated wood. You can smell this closet from 20 feet away. I would put it in my garage but I'm afraid it will catch fire when I start my car's engine. Yes it is a hard wood with a very poor finish. So be careful. there is something to buy on amazon, don't buy this junk
