Have been using these "old razors" for a long time. I've always loved a close shave and not plastic going to landfill. Please make sure to use good foam and patiently clean and also dry the blades. The holder is sturdy and well made. The blades are sharp and easy to clean. These razors require more time and care for your shave, but they are worth it in terms of savings and environmental impact. I have a thick beard and have had no problems with this kit. There were clogs, but with a damp cloth and conditioner I cleaned the blades and had no problems. I will buy another set for my dad. Money well spent!
