I bought this foot, not the magnetic one, from China via a Facebook ad. The company that sells one from China couldn't adequately answer my question about the magnetic base on my computer controlled machine and using it will void the warranty. Without any risk I decided on a real Brother leg for my expensive car and I am very satisfied. While this foot requires an extra step to unscrew it, it's not a huge hassle when you factor in the cost of replacing the machine. Easy on and off, makes straight stitch sewing a breeze for anyone.
