
Hard to beat for the price and simplicity of these drive bay adapters, and they come with all the hardware you (should) need. That's the good part. The problem is that I've encountered too many situations where these adapters just didn't fit. For example, they will not fit Dell desktops that use plastic tool-less drive sleds because these adapters set the dead center of the 2.5" drive, many of these drive sleds require it to be offset to one side, and the cables can stretch up to a 2.5-inch drive is sufficient if the connections are right on the edge of the carriage. The screw holes in this carriage are also too small for the bolts that hold the carriage drive without tools. I've had mixed results with these adapters in small form factor desktops. Drive adapters that offer an off-center, raised SSD bay tend to offer a more versatile fit.
