I have a cigarette lighter plug in my glove compartment, I use it to illuminate the legroom. I also recently started using the dashcam by getting a mobile hotspot in the car. Since I have to charge from time to time, I wanted to break the plug in the glove compartment. I looked around and decided to give this device a try. The block works great. Battery voltage is a nice extra feature to check battery status. Since my dash cam also works in park mode (connected to a Power Magic Pro that uses up to 12V to prevent battery drain), I check the battery status once a week to make sure everything is ok. In addition, a beautiful blue LED also closes the glove compartment. The block itself looks very solid and fits perfectly. Highly recommended.
