I have two old fairy lights. One set is a white plastic icicle supposedly rated for 2.5v, 0.17 amp, 0.6w bulbs. These replacement bulbs are barely lit when installed in this kit. Not much brighter than a blown lightbulb. Other reviewers have had similar results with any brand of replacement bulb, as can be seen in some of the reviews. Anyhow, I have seen any evidence that there is a replacement bulb that will work when installed in this kit. My second kit is a green plastic mesh lamp that uses the same bulb and draws 2.5v, 17 amps and 0.425 watts. These replacement bulbs work great in this kit. The only difference I see is the power rating. So if you buy these or other replacement bulbs, they may not work depending on your lighting setup. Much luck.
