Sewing cute quilts and gifts is Atsuko Matsuyama's new project tutorial. Originally published in Japanese in 2018, this English translation by Search Press is 144 pages and comes in paperback format. This is a beautifully photographed collection of pouches, bags, small upholstered furniture and home accessories. Most of them can be easily adjusted to different sizes or applications. It follows a logical format with bags and pouches in one section, followed by home accessories. The designs themselves are well chosen, colorful and appealing. Many of them are retro 50's with lots of floral prints, nostalgic panels and simple color schemes. Project. The instructions are simple and clear. The book includes all full-size templates. At the end of the book you will find instructions on basic techniques such as embroidery, appliqué, basic area embroidery and quilting. Attractive projects.
