This light was used on my stairs and at first I thought it wasn't giving enough light as it was a bit small for the space I was using it for but the LEDs are so bright that they overshadow my other lamps . on the stairs look so gloomy. The light is made of aluminum and is a fairly thick piece of metal that is very durable. There are two LED strips on the top and bottom, covered with a plastic/acrylic piece. Installation is very simple, just connect the colored wires and screw the rear metal part to the wall or wall box, then screw the light to the metal part of the wall. For my setup, I had to bend the back metal piece a bit to properly line up the screw holes with the light. Not sure if I have the gimpy but it worked. In general, the installation took me 10-30 minutes. If I said that this is a very good light, I would buy another one at any time.
