This robe is incredibly comfortable. I am 5'7" and got the extra large because I wanted to make sure I had a nice big comfortable robe. It comes down to my ankles and the sleeves come to about mid palm. It's very cozy. My first thought out of the packaging was that it was too thin, but it is very warm. There was no weird smell as some reviews suggested. The color is great. I got the purple and it's a nice rich color. No issues with pilling or anything like that when washing. The only thing that could make this better is if it had a hood, but maybe it's best that it doesn't as it is hard enough to drag myself out of this robe and go to work every day as it is!
