My daughter is teaching her granddaughter how to sew. Her car wasn't cheap as she uses it for her business so I bought my granddaughter her own version but smaller. This is the perfect size for a 6 year old. It works like moms but is made for kids and not as delicate as the expensive ones their mom owns. It has 12 different stitches to choose from and even a stitch control pedal. It fast forwards and rewinds and even has a bobbin winder. There is a small drawer at the bottom, which is also very practical. I hadn't expected that at all. There is even a light on the machine and you can change the sewing foot too. This is a beautiful lavender white color that would be perfect for any little girl.
