Good first hammock good for me

I recently decided to give hammock camping a go and as a bigger human decided to go with this hammock. It fit nicely in my 65L backpack. Setup was easy and overall I found it very comfortable. I did find some small issues with it though. Mostly regarding the bug netting. 1: I feel like there should be some way to space out the netting after setting it up. It felt pretty droopy as I was laying in it. 2: After a 3am bathroom trip I went to get back into the hammock, accidentally sat on the bug netting part and the middle loop broke and caused the cord to snap into the back of my head. Gran it, that is mostly due to me being clumsy but I still feel the looping should be stronger. I'll likely repair it and set up carabiners to loop the cordage through. Overall though, this is a good hammock.

Pros
  • The sun-resistant design means the hammock won’t fade or become damaged when exposed to direct sunlight
Cons
  • May require additional stakes for stability
