Review on ZEYAR Highlighters, Dual Tips Marker Pen, Chisel And Fine Tips, Flexible Tip And Soft Touch, Water Based, Assorted Colors, Quick Dry (18 Colors) by Aleska Allen

Almost as good a set as my Zebra brand

These highlighters don't seem to be quite as light and transparent, even the pastels, but they are still much better for journaling or using in textbooks than typical highlighters which soak through the pages. If using for thinner pages, like those of a bible (unless it's a thicker paged study bible), these are still too heavy and will show through the other side. But for most journals, these are fine. As long as the ink underneath is fully dry, these are pretty smear-proof. If you are taking notes and using a pen with gel ink, you may need to somehow mark the section you want to highlight and come back later so nothing smears/bleeds. I really appreciate the dual tips as sometimes the typical chisel point is too big for cleanly highlighting fine print. I've not had any trouble with ink flow from either writing end, though like most other highlighters if you need to highlight a big area you will see the fluid from the chisel end start to fade and skip. Since these are a good deal cheaper than their Zebra counterparts, I'm quite happy with the performance for the price and have zero issue buying again.
