There is no problem using the item. Yes, there is no mounting screw, but a quick trip to the hardware store solved that problem (the correct screw size is 6-32 x 2.5 inches, but a length within 0.25 inches would probably suffice). My problem is related to item design security. I saw a review (on the Revain partner site) from a person who took it apart. This showed that the hot and neutral wires were reconnected to the side exits. I pulled out my trusty outlet tester to test mine and sure enough the side outlets showed hot and neutral swapped. This is a potential electric shock/safety hazard. It seems to be a design issue, but if it's just a bad batch, I'd advise everyone to test it with an output tester. mine is going back
