Only worn this seat cover a few times so far so good. It didn't get wet or dirty so I can't say if it's waterproof or easy to clean. I can say that we have two big dogs and so far they haven't been hiding from them. One of our dogs hates traveling and is quite nervous about drooling that doesn't come through our car seat covers. As for the slip resistance, the lid slips and slides when the dog first jumps in - ugly entrance - but once the dogs are seated and we're on the street, it doesn't slip anymore. I think their weight along with the straps keeps it in place. Overall, I feel like I'm happy with this purchase so far.
