The viewing angle, while wide, is narrow if you need precision when editing photos. There is a slight color change on the screen. This is because the color changes depending on the angle you look at the screen. Many AGP video cards don't support this resolution and it's hard to know until you try. Most PCIe graphics cards will do this. I also used LaCie 319 and 321 which are better suited for digital photography. This display is suitable for less critical color work.
