There was another projector that was almost similar; it worked for close to two years before the rotation finally stopped. We had made the decision to replace it, but the new one was broken. Filed a return request. Some pros: The kids enjoy it, so right before we turn in for the night, we turn on the red stars with rotation. Excellent illumination for use as a night light. Having these drawbacks: The rotation mode on this particular projector either does not operate at all or works inconsistently: it may stop, stand, and continue rotating, or it may not continue and it will need to be turned on once again. Spins at an extremely slow rate.
