I have a 4 pound service dog and these steps will help her get in and out of my bed more easily. These ladders were more expensive than many others I could have chosen, but they looked better online so I was hoping the extra cost would affect the quality when they arrived. What a disappointment when they arrived with protruding holes in the piping threads (I started trimming some of them first) and realized how many problems there were with the wrong stitching where traced and continued. When you put your name on something, you believe in your product. So I'm hoping for a new staircase or a refund or something. This is a problem for me and my service dog. Also, the set I bought had to be very big and strong, they are so damn soft and have no support at all. Being as small as her, they move when she climbs on them. (when she's excited and walks a little fast, but not fast)
