I'll admit I'm more of a beginner, so I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a camcorder. I was just getting to the point where I was able to put this to good use to create YouTube videos. I found that I can't take pictures indoors with electric lights at night because the picture isn't very good. But during the day, even if the road is boring, it picks up pretty well. Absolutely terrible sound with no mic - I still forgot to turn it on. As I recalled, I had to edit the audio in my software because it had unattractive background noise. In general I was quite happy with the camera for this price. However, today I turned it on and the screen broke. Actually looks scratched. It's not cracked, but that's the best way to describe it. So now he's useless. I'm really confused. I haven't dropped it or done anything but I reckon it will cost as much as I paid to fix it. So I would say that despite the good price this is not a very durable camera.
