Review on π Clear iDesign Linus 9x9x1.5-inch Rotating Turntable Organizer by Luis Despain
Pretty to look at but can handle minimal weight
I was planning to use it for spices. It's the perfect size (9 inch diameter) for my narrow kitchen cabinets and it rotates well, but only when there's nothing on it. When I loaded it with glass spice jars, it wouldn't turn at all. I didn't send it back but filled it with lighter plastic cans it can handle but barely. Even with lightweight plastic spice containers, the rotation is anything but smooth. This is disappointing because I really like the size and the look and would have bought more if the swivel could have held more weight.
