These 90 degree charging cables are perfect for my use. I use my e-reader all the time and the charging slot is down. This means that the cable keeps kinking when the reader is on my lap/hands while charging. This constant flexing breaks the cables in the charger and I have to replace it. These 90-degree cables automatically bend the cable to the side so the cables aren't under constant pressure when I'm charging and reading at the same time.
