After having a nightmare with a Cuisinart cookware that got deep and very visible scratches after just a week or two of use and there was only two of us in the house, I doubted American Atelier would be any better. I'm happy to report that I was wrong. Not only are they very beautiful, but they leave no trace even after several months of daily use. They retain their shine after being washed in the dishwasher and are far superior to Cuisinart cookware. Ours still looks new. I gave them one star because the plates are not exactly even when stacked, you can see slight differences in shape and there are very slight imperfections in the glaze on some plates. For the price, I would highly recommend them as an attractive and durable dinnerware set for everyday use.
