I just installed 69575 Gabriel Ultra rear shocks on my 2004 Grand Marquis. The ride is terribly uncomfortable. Instead of the normal very smooth ride the car has always had, you can now feel every bump in the road. I suspect the bumps are too strong, because on the westbound stretch of I-96 near Lansing, Michigan, where all the cars sway rhythmically on each new stretch of road, the updraft is now much greater than it was with the original dampers. I go back to an auto parts store other than the one that recommended this shock or to Ford parts to find shocks that will get my car back to its previous ride.
