Works great! In particular, I use alcohol to clean the record and playback heads on my tape decks. Their length allows for easy access to heads and they are strong enough to aggressively clean heads. I also use cotton swabs with alcohol to clean the records before recording. I also used them to clean the metal part of my Mac between the keys. A word of caution: Don't leave too much alcohol on the cotton wool to avoid dripping inside the computer. There should be a provision for life - but I'm 71 years old.
- applicator stick: 6 inch long wooden handle, long enough to reach a small space, very comfortable to use. A compacted cotton swab with less lint than regular cotton swabs can work well for both cleaning and smudging. Suitable for sensitive skin.
