Large small fans for directed airflow. They are very quiet and work well. I've used them to get some older ASICs running at a reasonable temperature. The tiny fans on the side panels just aren't enough to keep them cool. Since there are rubber spacers, I actually plant them directly onto the blocks. They've done a great job on cooling because I get fewer hardware errors. I installed them in an airflow box, with one pair pushing 120mm fans and the other pulling air into the box. I have two 120mm fans on each side and then four 80mm fans (this product) sitting on two rows of six Ascics in each USB power strip. Now that this design really works, I only have to turn the strip off once a week instead of multiple times a day. My askis are now producing 40 percent more hashes, and far less attention is paid to getting them to work. I am thankful for these products!
