This pen came with my iPad when I bought it. Following my granddaughter's advice on a good note-taking program, I bought Goodnotes and learned how to take and store notes with a pen, slowly choosing my individual preferences to complement my messy handwriting. Once I connected the stylus to the iPad, I could forget about it and get to work. The pen also had an extra tip, indicating that they are bound to wear out over time. I see no reason to spend a lot of money on a branded pen.
