This product allows me to listen without tiring. Bass response is spot on with tight control, not overwhelming in any way but giving you plenty of mid-bass. High frequencies are clear and not distorted at high gain. The mids are what you would expect from $900 headphones. I was thinking of my older brother (Mdr-Z1r) but didn't justify the price. Combine it with my wm1a and it turns golden. The level of comfort in these headphones is just insane, I literally don't notice it, plus I wear glasses. Overall a 5 star product!
